A lazy day

For some reason ... none of us could get going today. It wasn't a bad thing. It meant that we got to go to 'Little monsterz'; a local softplay. Mum stayed at home to work and dad and grandma took us. Dad let Haruki go into the softplay area for '4 and overs'...

... however after he had seen the 'death slide' he pulled Haruki out and put him in the '4 and under section'. Yuto got his own play area as there was only 7 or 8 children there in total. We played for just over an hour before retunring to the flat for soup and a sleep.

During this sleep, mum and dad played a game and dad finished reading his book 'This iceberg is melting'.

The day was getting on and mum and dad did want to do ... something. So we all got ready and took the lovely walk back to Whitby. On the way we had a moped with a trailer which had a table tennis table on the top coming towards us on a meter wide path. One lad was driving the moped and the other was holding onto the table tennis table for dear life. Not something you see every day. It was 6pm when we arrived ... and a Sunday. Suprisingly, a lot of Whitby was still open. We went for a walk on the Abbey side of the Esk for a short while before retuning to the flat for 8pm.

We had Chinese tonight and watched the film Yesterday ... having a late night.
