Fish!

We were in the car around 11am which, for this holiday, was very early. The morning had consisted of TV, breakfast and reading but now, we were off somewhere.

Mum and dad were keeping it a secret however we were certain of two things. Firstly, we were heading south along the coast and secondly, where we were going cost money as we saw our dad on the iPad with his bnak card. However, before we found out where we were going, we decided to have a little sleep.

We awoke on the coast watching mum and dad eating lunch they had bought from Tesco. We were at a place called 'sealife'. Dad explained that it was an aquarium ... whatever that is. We went in amd saw a lot of fish. Haruki loved the rays and sharks, whereas Yuto liked all the areas which were bright (the beginning was quite dark which, he didn't like). We cotinued and saw seahorses, an octpous, seals, otters and many, many more. We all had a lovely time however, both Yuto and Haruki didn't want to spend too much time at Sealife therefore, we were not there long.

After this we went into the nearby local town of Scarborough. It was okay however, we decided that it was nothing special; just like most towns. Haruki and mum went into M&S whereas Dad and Yuto went into WHSmith and Waterstones. Yuto got a lot of smiles.

As we drove out of Scarborough, it started to rain a lot. Dad flicked his wipers on to discover that one was broken ... it was flapping around on the windscreen. Dad didn't seem too annoyed. We overheard him say to mum that, during something called an MOT, he had been told to replace it ... but hadn't. Now we went to a magical place called Halfords where they replaced the wiper blade for dad. How nice!

After this we headed back to the flat. Once there we ordered dominos pizza and watched 'One life' before heading to bed just before midnight.

Friday 27th March 2026 - Dad usually finished work at 5pm… not 1pm. Something was a foot! What’s more, bags were packed and the roof top box...
